If it hops it's a frog. If it walks it's a toad. That's the simplest way of working it out.
Looks like a toad to me, though. And quite a handsome one at that.

Pity you can't see its hind legs very well - frogs have longer legs with webbed feet, toads have shorter legs, and no webbing on their feet. My gut feeling is that it's a frog as it looks rather too moist for a toad, and isn't very warty. The legs look fairly long and I think I can just make out some webbing on the back feet.
