I have been busy with family, hospital visits, looking after 4 grandchildren etc., and have not had much me time. However I took the day off on Sunday and went to Hardwicke Hall in Derbyshire. I met a friend there and we had a superb lunch in the Inn on the Estate before looking round the house and gardens.
I can honestly say it did me the world of good, interesting place, fine food and good company what a lovely day out 
My batteries are now refreshed

Pro I would love to go there. My colleague did some buildings archeology in the Stables there, I was so jealous.
